Event Booking Conditions, Terms Of Payment And Cancellation Policy

Please note these ‘Terms of Business’ may be subject to change without notice.

 

Booking

  • For current event costs and dates, please refer to our website, www.theinvitation.me

  • The stated price must be paid at the time of order, before the date of the event.

  • Before booking onto the event, please ensure you have read the event programme and content, to ensure the event will meet your needs.

  • Following your reservation request you will be required to complete the online booking form.  Upon receipt of your registration online booking form and subsequent payment, your place(s) will be confirmed.  Please do not make travel arrangements until you’ve had your place(s) confirmed as we cannot guarantee a place until that time. Top 1% Club Ltd will not be responsible for any costs you incur if you make arrangements or bookings before the approval has taken place. 

  • We use this information to assess your ability to follow the programme and to tailor your experience. We do not share this information with any third party, other than with our third party service providers involved in delivery of the retreat.  Your transmittal of your personal information shall constitute your acknowledgment and agreement to the terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.

  • Top 1% Club Ltd’s acceptance of your booking brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms and conditions. 

 

Invoicing And Payment

  • Fees (including any card processing and/or booking fees applicable) are payable upon booking.

  • Invoices and receipts will be issued electronically on completion of the booking.

  • Invoices will be addressed to the name and address provided on the booking form.

  • All reservations require a 50% deposit payable within 7 days of receiving the invoice. This will secure your place on the retreat. The remaining balance should be made 60 days prior to the start date of the retreat.

  • Non-payment of the deposit or the final balance in the stated time-frame automatically cancels your reservation.  

  • Payment must be made in Pounds Sterling or Euros by bank transfer.

 

Please note we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen illness, travel complications, flight interruptions, and other emergencies.

Our 24-Hour Cancel Policy

Rest assured you can cancel your workshop application and request a full refund of your deposit payment within 24 hours with no penalty.

The Invitation Cancellations

In the unlikely event The Invitation must cancel a retreat or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or be offered to transfer your payments to another retreat or workshop at no fee.

Event Attendance

  • Delegates will receive joining instructions and all correspondence via email to the email address provided on the booking form.If alternative details are received after the booking form has been submitted, they will supersede the original details and all future correspondence will be sent to the new address.

  • It is the responsibility of the individual completing the event registration/booking form to ensure joining instructions are received by the delegate. 

Cancellations And Amendments Or Variations

  • These are bespoke unique events with all aspects specially curated for our guests - from the accommodation, food, programme content, teachers to the guests you will meet. Once guests book, we make specific arrangements and investments on the basis of this commitment to attend.

  • Given the exclusivity and intimate group size, it's important for us to maintain this level of service and experience and as such refunds can only be made under specific conditions.

  • In the event of a cancellation where we are able to fill your place, we will credit you the payment that you have made less a 10% cancellation fee. We will do our best to help you find someone to fill your place but due to the nature of our offering we cannot guarantee this.

 

Event Provisions

  • Organising and financing travel to and from the event are the responsibility of the delegate.

  • Where food and refreshments are to be provided, this will be stated on the event details, and the cost included in the price quoted. 

  • Any special dietary requirements or other needs must be completed on the booking form at least 6 weeks in advance of the event. 

 

Alterations To Advertised Packages

All advertised packages are subject to availability.

Every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the advertised packages, but any packages may be altered or omitted or dates changed either before or after confirmation of the booking. Where such alterations, omissions or changes of date occur before the confirmation of the booking, Top 1% Club Ltd accepts no contractual liability. Where such alterations, omissions or changes of dates occur after confirmation of the booking, Top 1% Club Ltd agrees to use reasonable endeavours (such reasonable endeavours to be strictly subject to the organisers/promoters of events and/or other third parties making alternative packages available and further subjects to Top 1% Club Ltd’s right to change the price applicable) to provide a reasonable alternative package.

 

Force Majeure

  • Top 1% Club Ltd shall not be liable for refund of fees or any other penalty should the event be cancelled due to war, fire, strike lock-out, industrial action, tempest, accident, civil disturbance or any other cause whatsoever beyond their control.

  • In the event of there being insufficient numbers booked onto an event, Top 1% Club Ltd reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event.

  • In the event of cancellation of an event by Top 1% Club Ltd, we will endeavour to inform all delegates as soon as reasonably possible. All event fees paid will be reimbursed in full, or the payment will be transferred in full to another Top 1% Club Ltd event. Top 1% Club Ltd shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred.

 

Entire Agreement

  • These terms and conditions, together with the current The Invitation website prices, event details and Top 1% Club Ltd contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the event. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a Director of Top 1% Club. 

  • The contract of these terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and Top 1% Club and the client hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in all matters regarding the contracts and these Terms and Conditions.
